Skip is a 2005 golden palomino Quarter Horse stallion. He carries bloodlines to the great stallions Skipper W, Two Eyed Jack, Otoe and Poco Bueno. He is very athletic with a nice short back and is a very fluid mover who can really jump! Speedy and boy can he turn quick and stop!! Skip has a natural sliding stop. He can turn and go the other way in a matter of seconds. Skip can get up lots of speed in a short distance. Offspring would be well suited for any speed event or ranch work. He has a natural cow sense. Calm temperament and very easy going!! Naturally herds cows around. Was pastured with cows and an Arab stallion last winter. The two stallions were good buddies and they both bossed around the cows.

Skip would be an amazing prospect for someone who is undecided about which discipline they want to do because he has the potential to do them all! Skip is very smart, very athletic and very versatile. He is incredibly cow, light on his front end, can really stop and turn and has a big stride with lots of jumping ability. Go to a cutting, penning or barrel event one weekend and a jumping or dressage event the next weekend.

Skip is green broke and has been ridden a number of times beside mares even ones that were ready to be bred. He was very easy to handle and didn't care about the mares. Skip has ridden in Steal Scouts practices and was a very well behave boy. There were geldings and mares and he was very calm. Nothing scares Skip, a bomb could literally go off and he wouldn't even flinch.

First foal born June 10th, a palomino QH colt. Second foal is here, a beautiful black and white Paint filly. Last foal of 2009 is here, a solid BUCKSKIN Paint colt. Skip sired 2 fillies in 2010, a palomino QH filly and a sorrel QH filly. Very happy with all his foals.

Skip will stand at stud for a short time in 2012 before he goes to his new home.
