Possum is a 15.3 hand bay and white tobiano mare. She is a stock welt built mare, very athletic and can really stop. She is going to make a great reining horse and hopefully give us some nice reining prospects. Possum is really sweet and easy to work with. Possum was ridden in many small town parades last year and also was in the 2010 and 2011 Calgary Stampede parade.  Possum was ridden in the International Ring at Spruce Meadows and was ridden extensively all over the grounds at Spruce Meadows from April to July in 2010 & 2011. Possum has been ridden both English and western and will also go bareback. She is good to ride in both a bit and halter.

Possum goes back to the Man O' War sons American Flag and War Glory. She also goes back to Spy Song, a Man O' War grandson, Gallant Ghost, and Native Dancer. Possum had a solid Buckskin colt in 2009 by to our palomino AQHA stud, Jack Skipped Barb.

Possum is being offered on an on farm lease. She would make a great gymkhana horse, trail horse, parade horse, Reiner, cowhorse, jumper and possibly a neat western pleasure horse or all around horse. She is very athletic and versatile. She has been taken over small x-rails and have to step over logs on stuff on trails. She walks through water and is used to vehicles. Possum has a great stop and spin on her so would be really cool in any speed event and reining. She has a nice English pace trot when asked for more speed but enjoys going slow and jogging. Possum is very comfortable to ride. She has has beginners, experienced riders and kids on her. Nothing really bugs her. She is great with other horses and is very cowy!
