Update (August 30th, 2010): Panda and I had a great weekend at Pony Club championship. Panda was a little uptight and wanted to go home but she settled down after the first day. She showed everyone she is a jumping horse not a dressage horse when she jumped out of the dressage ring on our first test. Up until that point it was going very well. The next day went much better, we stayed in the ring!! We had a nice ride and ended up getting a 70 on a pretraining test, not to bad for our first dressage level!! We place 7th in that test but didn't place in the level due to the jump out of the ring on the first day. My dressage team did place 2nd though! Congrats everyone some of the dressage tests were pretty neat to watch! On the last day Panda got to have some fun, it was jumping! We competed in a 2'3" class and got 4th! My jumping team ended up winning. Everyone had great rides. It was a great weekend and look forward to next years championships!
Update (August 25th, 2010): Since we have decided not to bred I GOT CURVES I figured I would see how she was to ride. Turns out she is one neat horse. I have been riding her for about a month now and she is amazing. We have been jumping x-rails and she is handling them very well. I have had her at 2 jumping lessons and everyone was very impressed with her. We jumped a couple small oxers, verticals, combinations, planks and picket fences at one lesson. She didn't offer to refuse once though she did launch herself like they were 6 feet tall. At our other lesson we had x-rails setup but lots of scary things on the jumps like blankets, pillions and stuffed animals. These freaked her out though she still jumped and went over everything! I have been very impressed with Curves.
Update (July 16th, 2010): After a week of crazy weather and lots of fun riding Panda and I are very tired. We had a fun time camping out at Delacour, playing on the cross country course, learning new things in stadium jumping and working on our flat work. Thanks to everyone for making this a great week! Wish the weather had been a little better. We got to test out our new slicker in one of our stadium jumping classes so that was cool! Thanks Shan Pletcher for these two amazing photos!

I cannot wait to see this boy in the show ring!! We have decided to name this spunky boy Flash and he will be registered as MV Lukkhe Flash. Click here to see Flash! Update (July 6th, 2010): Our only pure polish foal is here, a beautiful bay filly out of IL Medalions Xenia sired by Opus Zone. She is a full sister to one of our 2009 foals, Bella. This little girl is more like her dam then her sire. We have named her Trinkit, Kit for short, and she will be registered as MV Musical Trinkit. Click Here to see this beauty.

Update (June 6th, 2010): Panda and I competed at our second horse show and once again had a blast! Panda was amazing and I was very proud of her. We competed in Western Equitation, Western Pleasure, Trail, English Equitation, English Pleasure and 18" Hunter. We brought home one first, two seconds, and three thirds. Panda was once again amazing in the trail. We opened a gate, did trot poles, canter a semi circle, halted, turned in the box, side passed then picked up a slicker from one post and took it to another. We then had to pick the slicker up again and back up to the first post and place it on the post! This Panda was amazing at. We got first in Trail!! We had a great time in the jumper class as well. There were a few jumps that Panda had never seen but with only a little encouragement she nicely jumped them! I believe this was our first course. Definitely our first hunter course. All in all is was a great day and Panda was amazing!!
Update (June 5th, 2010): Congratulations Heidi and Karen. They had their first ride together and both were amazing. Heidi was such a good girl and figured out how to steer and walk forward without anyone leading her! Way to go miss Heidi! Karen and Heidi were amazing, but they stole Panda's saddle blanket! Jeez. Oh well.
Update (May 24th, 2010): Panda and Possum went to their first ever parade! Both were amazing. Possum rode with dad in the Steel Scouts. Both were all dressed up and looked very good. Unfortunately we got no pictures!! Panda and I were riding with the East Gate Saddle Club. Panda was amazing. We got to ride beside a trick rider who did a number of interesting things that Panda was very unsure about. By the end though she didn't care!! Update (May 22nd, 2010): We are excited to announce the birth of Lukkhe's first filly, born on his birthday! This beautiful chestnut is going to be a real looker and a good sized girl! She is a beautiful mover and very sweet!

This colt is absolutely beautiful, even though I had really wanted a filly I am still very happy with this boy. He is nicely put together and has an amazing temperament. He also has amazing bloodlines. This was Khrystal 4th chestnut colt. Her other colt 3 colts have movement to burn and amazing personalities. This is Ozzy's first colt and first foal that isn't pure polish though this boy is over 50% polish. Looking forward to seeing this colt grow. We have decided to name him Kallin and he will be registered as MV Striking Gold! Click her to see the golden boy! Update (May 2th, 2010): Panda and I competed at our first horse show and had a blast! Panda was amazing and such a good girl the whole day. We competed in Western Equitation, Western Pleasure, Trail, English Equitation and English Pleasure. We brought home one second, three thirds and one fourth. The class that Panda impressed me the most in was trail! We had to open and go through a scary gate then close it again. Panda and I had never opened a gate while we were riding so she was a bit confused as to what she was supposed to do but figured it out quickly then was a very good girl about. Another obstacle that she impressed me with was the fan (I think that is what it is called). We had to ride in the point, swing our butt one way, back the other way then back out. Panda was incredible at this! All is all is was a great day and Panda was amazing!! Update (April 26th, 2010): Lukkhe's second foal is here, another beautiful chestnut colt. This boy is out of Misty Lane Jazzminn who is owned by Denise Hudema. We are once again impressed with what Lukkhe seems to be producing and are even more excited to see his other babies! Update (April 13/14th, 2010): Our first foal of 2010 is here and Lukkhe's first foal! Cheyenne foaled a beautiful chestnut colt by My Lukkhe Starr. He has cute head, beautiful angles, an amazing temperament and is a total sweetheart! He is double Khemosabi foal. A really nice cross and a really well put together colt! Unfortunately there was a snow storm the night after he was born and other horses broke him out of his warm stall. He got sick and cold and we couldn't save him. He will always be remembered as a neat baby and a fighter who did try to stay with us. We miss you little boy! We were very impresses with this boy and are now incredibly excited to see Lukkhe's other babies! This colt was beautiful with an incredibly temperament. Click here to see him.
