Pictures       Pedigree       Pedigree Info

Lukkhe is a chestnut purebred Arab Stallion. He is Khrystal's oldest foal. He bridles, saddles, ground-drives, can be mounted from either side, and has been ridden around the round pen a few times. I look forward to start riding him next spring. He's really a nice young stallion......doesn't bite or strike and learns fast. Lukkhe has amazing movement and has tons of power in each stride. He transitions are so smooth! May carry the sabino gene. His dam does. My Lukkhe Starr is an amazing mover with tons of presence and power. He is a very athletic boy with an amazing temperament.

Lukkhe has many champions in his pedigree including the great Khemosabi, one of the most outstanding and treasured Arabian stallions in America. His charisma and breathtaking beauty have earned him a worldwide fan club as well as double National Championships in halter and performance in the U.S. and Canada. Khemosabi went on to win four IAHA achievement awards including the Legion of Masters. Lukkhe also goes back to the great stallions Magic Dream (US top 10 halter stallion) and Bajdak (1962 Canadian National Top Ten Stallion, 1971 and 1972 Canadian National Top Ten Stallion, 1972 U.S. National Top Ten Stallion). Lukkhe goes back to the legendary Bask through Magic Dream CAHR. His dam, The Dreamspinner is out of an Ariston son, Aristo Kossak. Lukkhe's grandsire, Chamus, was an outstanding showhorse winning a top 10 in Halter as well as Many Regional titles in both Halter and Western Pleasure. He was a perfect example of Gainey Breeding at its best. Chamus was sired by Nelcrest Champagn+ who in the year before his untimely death brought home such sought after honors as Canadian Reserve National Halter Champion and US top ten (third) halter stallion. Nelcrest Champagn held over 20 Most classic titles as well as having wins in Driving and English Pleasure. This rare Gainey line is known to produce top quality broodmares as well as adding type and quality. Lukkhe's Maternal grandsire, Nodoubtaboutit sired by Khemosabi out of a National Champion Mare, has a Multi-Class 'A' Championships in Western Pleasure & Halter as well as an Intermountain High Point Western Pleasure Championship. He also was a Reserve High Point Stallion.

Lukkhe has trot to burn and has tons of power in each stride. His has easy transitions and a good stop. Lukkhe has a long beautiful neck and great shoulder assembly. He has good build but still looks refined. Hasn't finished growing and will be a good sized boy when he is grown. Currently stands around 15.1 hds. Lukkhe will make a great cross with Arabians, Sport Horses and Warm bloods. He will be taken to a Trakehner inspection in 2010 and possibly an RSPI and Canadian Sport Horse Inspection.

Watch for Lukkhe in local shows this year. He will be hitting the show circuit and starting his career with western pleasure. After some more training he will move onto Reining, Dressage and some jumper events. This athletic boy can do it all. He has the heart and desire to show everyone what he's got!

Lukkhe's first foal is due April 4th, 2010.

Lukkhe's introductory stud fee is $500 all breeds and grade mares plus $6 a day mare care. Stud fee includes $150 booking fee and comes with a Live foal guarantee. Which means I will breed him back for the cost of mare care only, till you get a foal. Even out of a different mare if needed. He can be hand breed or pasture breed. Has a great laid back personality and is great with foals! Multiply Mare discount, Proven Mare discount and Pony Club Member Discount.

Imported in 1965 by Douglas and Margaret Marshall, Glennloch Farms
Foal crops 1960 to 1966 in Egypt, 1967 to 1975 in the US

quote from Douglas & Margaret Marshall:
"As one of the most eminent sons of Nazeer*, and who's get and grandget have carried his name into innumerable championships, *Morafic's place in history of the breed is certain. For nine years in Egypt and another nine at Glennloch Farms, *Morafic sired foals inbred with their father's most beloved qualities: spirit, refinement and a presence that captivated all who saw him. *Morafic sons and daughters have won seven National Championships, seven Reserve National Championships, 29 national Top Tens, six National Futurity Championships and 30 get-of-sire championships."

May 1986 Arabian Horse World:
"*Morafic's last two foals were born in 1975, bringing his total of American-bred offspring to 151, all but 15 of which were bred by Glennloch, members of the Marshall family, or members of the McNair family. All but 42 of *Morafic's American-bred foals are grey. In Egypt, *Morafic sired 31 sons and 27 daughters, for a lifetime total of 209 foals."

Bask
(Witraz x Balalajka)

There are a number of distinctions that have set *Bask apart from other influential stallions in the breed. With 1,046 registered purebred get, he was the leading sire of Arabians for several years after his death. *Bask was also one of those rare U.S. National Champion Stallions to sire a U.S. National Champion Stallion. In addition to his national halter title, *Bask was named U.S. National Champion Park, U.S. National Reserve Champion Formal Combination, and U.S. National Reserve Champion Formal Driving. And last but certainly not least, *Bask left behind an impressive siring record that includes close to 500 champions, of which nearly 200 are National winners. -- by Ristin Berkery

Ferseyn
(Raseyn x Ferda)

Ferseyn was born in the year 1949.
In personality, Ferseyn was a prankster. He was quick to find ways to amuse himself. He matered the art of turning lights on or off, at undoing door latches and gate closings, and at untying knots.
At times in his life, a pregnant mare put with him to keep him from walking the fence and swinging his head. With such a mare he would stand quietly with her, enjoying peaceful companionship.
When Ferseyn was 5 years old, the big 2 year old Abu Farwa was given a stall in the stallion barn. Whenever he could get his latest stall latch figured out and free himself during the night, Ferseyn spent his time happily harassing the younger, but larger Abu Farwa, who felt his survival depended on making a good show against the visiting gray stallion.

During his stud career (from 1939 through 1962), Ferseyn sired a total of 250 registered Arabian foals. He had 122 sons and 128 daughters. This number falls into better perspective when we consider that at the time of his death there were still less than 25,000 living Arabians in the United States.
Ferseyn passed away on November 6, 1962, at age 25, from complications resulting from his earlier founder.

Eleven of his get imported to the US or Canada have captured 25 National honors, most in the Park division, and include *Meczet who has National Championships in Formal Driving, Formal Combination, Park and Costume. Some of Comet's daughters include Warmia (dam of US National Champion Mare *Wizja), Engracia (dam of European Champion Engano), Eunice (dam of Polish National Champion Stallion *Eukaliptus and the sires Euben and *Eunizar) and Arba (dam of European Champion Stallion Arbor and Arra who not only won the Triple Crown of Derby, Oaks and Criterium but was Polish National Champion Mare and European National Champion Mare). Comet's son Grojec was a popular in England while Pohaniec has widespread influence in Sweden. Comet is considered the most important post war stallion in Poland. Bred by Nowy Dwor stud, his daughters left an indelible mark in Polish breeding that remains today. Kuhailan-Haifi
(Kuhailan Kharas x Kuhaila Haifi)

In 1930 Prince Roman Sanguszko organized an expedition to Arabia in order to add new blood to his Stud. Four desertbred Arabian stallions were among the horses brought back to Poland in 1931. One of those stallions was Kuhailan Haifi. A blood bay with a bright star in his forehead, Kuhailan Haifi was bred by Khalef el Aouad in Arabia, and foaled in 1924.

Prince Sanguszko's agent was Mr. Zientarski and he told of the first time he saw Kuhailan Haifi. "During a three day stay at Abu Draatha I noticed some bay Kuhailat fillies, very equal in type and beautiful indeed. They were sired by a bay stallion, belonging to the Ruala Bedouins in the neighborhood of Jauf...finally they lead in the bay Kuhailan Haifi. It is just the horse I am seeking. Not large, dry, on splendid legs, no trace of cow-hocks. A long neck, a noble head not very small, with distended thin, movable nostrils, a splendid high-carried tail...late in the night the stallion was bought and delivery arranged."

Kuhailan Haifi was the best stallion obtained by Prince Sanguszko. Purchased at Jauf, he was truly in the desert, not in outlying regions. Kuhailan Haifi lived but two years after arriving in Poland. He died after siring only 14 foals, the last born in 1935, and only one that year. Of these foals, only five were colts.
