Egypt is a gray 2002 Arab mare. Her face nearly white and the rest of her body a dark gray. Her mane and tail are a steel gray with a bit of white in her tail. Egypt is a very striking mare and has nice floating movement!  Egypt also has beautiful tipy ears!! 

Egypt's dam is sired by Almaddinn, an Aladdinn son. Almaddinn was a very special horse. He had been imported in utero from Sweden. Almaddinn was syndicated for about a million dollars in the 1980's by Tex Kam but the syndicate had more or less fallen apart about the time the Arabian prices went bad in the late 80's. His dam line also was exceptional Polish breeding that boasted very famous Polish race horses - all lines going back to pre WW11 stock. He had been shown a bit when he was about 7 and was Show Champion stallion. When Almaddinn was owned by Moon River Arabians he was used mostly on their own mares and they also used his son Aladara who they showed to several halter championships as well as Western Pleasure championships. Almaddinn was about 14.2hh barefoot and nearly a perfect copy of *Aladdinn.  The *Aladdinn type showed through on his babies and it was easy to pick them out of the herd as opposed to their other stallions. Almaddinn is Pure Polish.

Egypt's sire line also goes back to the Egyptian stallion Morafic. A multi champion Halter and Park Horse, *Morafic was shown by Mr. Tom Mc Nair and in 1969 *Morafic was classified as a "Living Legend". He was also made a "Sire of Significance by The Arabian Horse World. *Morifac sired 58 purebred foals in Egypt and 151 purebred foals in the U.S. *MORAFIC get helped popularize the Egyptian Arabian in America as they won not only in halter but also in all performance disciplines.

The rest of Egypt's pedigree includes some very special old bloodlines including Raseyn and Raffles!  

Egypt is bred to PF Djakarta for an exciting 2010 foal.
